Types of Virtual Client Experience Sessions
There are two types of Virtual Client Experience (VCE) sessions:
Group sessions are conducted with a group or the entire class/cohort. These may take place during class time or be specially scheduled. Group sessions are always coordinated directly with the Genius Academy VCE team — learners do not self-book.
1:1 sessions are one-on-one with a single learner at a time. Facilitators work with the Genius Academy VCE team to establish an available booking window, and then learners schedule their own session within that window.
For Facilitators
To set up 1:1 VCE sessions for your learners, reach out to your Genius Academy representative. They'll work with you to establish available booking windows that your learners can then self-schedule into.
For group sessions, coordinate directly with the Genius Academy VCE team to schedule.
For Learners
If your facilitator has set up Virtual Client Experience sessions, you'll see a VCE lesson in your course — identifiable by the camera icon.
To schedule your session:
Open the VCE lesson.
Click Schedule Experience.
Complete your booking — you'll receive a calendar invitation confirming your session.
To join your session: Use the Zoom or meeting link in your calendar invitation.
To reschedule or cancel: Use the reschedule or cancel options in your calendar invitation.

FAQ
I can't find an available time to book.
Reach out to your course facilitator — they can work with the GA VCE team to open up more availability.
I don't see the option to Schedule Experience.
Self-scheduling is only available for 1:1 sessions. If you don't see the option, check with your facilitator to confirm where and when your session is taking place — it may be a group session with a set time.
How do I find out when my group session is?
Check the Session Info section of your VCE lesson. Scheduled group sessions will list the confirmed time there.
