📌 What’s New
Starting with all courses launching Fall 2025 or later, Immersive Practicum Labs now include an Overall Score Rollup. Until now, each session in a practicum was graded individually. With this update, learners and facilitators will see an additional overall score and feedback summary for the entire practicum experience.
This new score is:
Calculated as the average of the learner’s best scoring attempt on each session.
Rounded up to the nearest whole number.
Automatically translated into a competency-based score for programs using competency scoring.
Accompanied by feedback from Genius Proctor that reflects overall performance across the full experience.
You’ll still see individual session scores and feedback — the rollup is an added data point that helps synthesize performance at a glance.
💡 Why This Matters
The rollup score saves facilitators time by providing one easy-to-read data point and helps learners understand their performance across the entire practicum. Instead of only seeing fragmented session scores, learners now receive a big-picture view of their progress and competencies.
👩🎓 For Learners
You’ll find a new Overall Score & Feedback section on your Results page.
This shows your combined score and summary feedback for the full experience.
Individual session scores are still available.
⚠️ Important Notes for Learners:
The rollup score only appears once you’ve completed at least one full attempt at the experience.
Your overall score updates live as you retry sessions, so you may see it change. Don’t worry — this just means your best attempts are being recalculated.
👩🏫 For Facilitators
On the Results page, you can toggle between:
Details View – session-by-session scores (the default).
Overview View – rollup scores for all learners in one place.
In Overview, expand each learner’s record to see their session-level scores alongside their rollup score.

If you don’t see rollup scores for learners, check whether they’ve completed the practicum in full.
