Can I Retry an Immersive Practicum Lab Experience?

Yes! After completing an Immersive Practicum Lab experience from start to finish, two flexible retry options become available:

  • Retry Experience: Restart the entire experience from the beginning.

  • Retry Session: Practice just one session at a time to target specific skills.

Retries are designed for growth and practice - every retry attempt is recorded separately and does not replace or change the original score.


When Do Retry Options Become Available?

Retry options unlock only after a full attempt at the experience has been completed. If an experience has not yet been fully finished, retry options will not appear.


Where Do the Retry Options Appear?

Retry the Full Experience

  • Location: Experience page

  • Action: Launches a clean version of the full experience from the beginning.

  • Best for: Practicing the entire flow again and applying feedback holistically.


Retry a Single Session

  • Location: Results page (View Results)

  • Action: Opens a specific session to retry without redoing the full experience.

  • Best for: Focusing on one area or skill that needs more practice.

⚠️ Note: Single-session retries are available only to learners. Instructors cannot retry individual sessions.


How Are Retries Tracked?

  • Separate entries: Each retry attempt is scored and saved as a distinct record.

  • No replacements: Original attempts and scores remain unchanged.

  • Complete visibility: Both learners and instructors can see all attempts — originals and retries — listed side by side.

  • Progress tracking: This makes it easy to compare growth across multiple attempts over time.
