Weโre excited to introduce Invite Management, a unified hub where facilitators can manage how learners and fellow facilitators gain access to a course.
This update brings together existing and brand-new tools in one convenient place โ making it easier to share access, maintain security, and support your teaching team.
Whatโs New
Invite Management helps you:
Access all invitation tools in one clear, centralized location.
Invite both learners and additional facilitators with ease.
Ensure only the right people have access to sensitive course data.
Manage TAs, co-facilitators, or institutional partners who need facilitator-level visibility.
Monitor who currently has access to protect learner privacy and course integrity.
How It Works
Invite Management is accessible for facilitators only, from within each individual course.
Navigate to the course you want to manage.
Click Invite from the course menu.
Choose whether you want to manage Learner Access or Facilitator Access.
Follow the instructions for each invitation type.
๐ Learner Access
The previous Share feature has now been relocated and improved within Learner Access.
Learner Access gives you a streamlined way to provide learners with everything they need to join your course. Facilitators can:
Easily access and verify their course code
Copy pre-written access instructions to share with learners
โ ๏ธ This is not a direct invite system. Facilitators must still share course access instruction with learners via email, LMS, or other communication channel.
๐ฅ Facilitator Access
This brand-new capability lets you invite other facilitators to your course. Facilitators can:
Invite new facilitators using email addresses
View facilitators that already have access to the course
โ ๏ธ Facilitator access grants powerful permissions, including: full view of learner submissions, detailed scaffolding/alignment information, and the ability to edit the course. Be extremely cautious about who you invite.
