šŸ“— Baseline Assessment

Updated over 3 months ago

Some courses include a baseline assessment learners must complete before they can view course materials. This short activity helps facilitators understand where learners are starting from in terms of comfort, familiarity, or prior knowledge.

šŸ“˜ For Learners

  • If your course has a baseline, you’ll see it right away after enrolling. You must complete it before you can begin the course.

  • You can’t go back and change your answers after submitting—it's a one-time thing. So take a moment, read carefully, and answer honestly.

  • To review what you submitted, go to your course page and click View Results at the top.

šŸ’” Note: Not all courses have a baseline assessment. If you don’t see a baseline, your facilitator didn’t enable it for your course.

šŸ§‘ā€šŸ« For Facilitators

  • Baseline assessment must be requested during your procurement and course design process. If you do not see a baseline assessment in your course, this feature was not purchased.

  • You can review your learners’ submitted responses at any time by going to the top of the course page and clicking View Responses.

  • You do not need to complete the baseline yourself—it’s designed for learners only.

  • Baseline data gives insight into learner self-assessments, but no comparative dashboard is available at this time.

🧠 Reminder: The baseline is meant to be informative, not evaluative. It’s not a test—just a snapshot of where learners are starting.
